The artist calls it how she sees it

While I am VERY flattered by my husband's sweet Valentine's slide show, here is something I am not so flattered by. My five year old daughter presented me with this picture today. She said: "Hey mom, I drew a picture of what you look like when you get out of bed in the morning. Want to see it?" For the first time in her drawing history, I knew I did NOT want to see my daughter's drawing. But of course she showed me, and now I am showing you. There is no rebuttal to the plain hard truth. The artist calls it how she sees it.

Well, it actually makes me feel better. I could really scare some people it they could see in my car at 6 am on the way to seminary.

Thanks for looking on the bright side, Shelby. She left my big pregnant belly right out of the picture...which I can be grateful for.

And Amy--I can't believe you have kids in Seminary!!! It was hard enough to go to seminary so early when we were the students...next we get to be the transportation...is there no way around those early mornings???

I think it's a compliment. Davey drew a picture of me the other day and he didn't forget to put a nice large round circle right in my abdomen. Jeromy keeps telling them, Mom's pregnant, not fat, but they can't separate the two.

Cute blog Amy! I've got one too if you want a better insight into our lives right now! It's shaniandogg.blogspot.com. Anyway, so who else are you looking for? I'm sick right now so my mind has blanked on who you might want info on. Lauren (Honey) had her first child 3 days ago! He's so cute! And Amy West went on a mission to Chile, she comes home at the end of this month. Shauna has a little girl and one on the way. Marnie went on a mission to Paris, I'm not sure when she comes home. I'm sure you know about Chante and Janique...umm...I know I'm forgetting someone, but just let me know! You should post pictures of you pregnant! I love those pictures! :) Wonderful to hear from you!

That's a fun picture - I love it. Don't worry...my hair is like that in the morning too! Children's imaginations are fantastic! I am a jewellery artist dedicated to turning children's drawings into jewellery and am always surfing the web for examples of drawings. I am researching for a new online gallery I am planning for my website to celebrate the creativity of children and wondered if you would be interested in displaying your child’s drawing there? My website can be found at http://www.amjewellery.co.uk
